Terms & Conditions

  1. The Client is solely responsible for any and all harm or damage caused by their dog while it is under the care of Polite Paws Dog Training, or is using any other services provided by Polite Paws Dog Training, and agrees to indemnify Polite Paws Dog Training in full against any liability arising from such harm or damage to third parties.
  2. All dogs will be subject to an initial assessment by Polite Paws Dog Training staff prior to using Polite Paws Dog Training Services. Polite Paws Dog Training reserves the right to refuse admission to any dog deemed in their absolute discretion to be, or have the potential to be, dangerous to staff or members of the public, both canine and human.
  3. The Client agrees to notify Polite Paws Dog Training immediately of any new or sudden behaviour changes of their dog, or development of behaviour that has potential to cause harm to any other dog or individual.
  4. Polite Paws may inform you of observations, recommendations or guidance on behaviour or training of your dog from time to time. In order to maximise your dogs safety and enjoyment of both our services and indeed their life in general, it is advisable to heed any such information and implement advice and guidance as much as possible.
  5. Should the Client identify their dog as a possible candidate for group walks, the Client accepts that during the course of normal dog play their dog may sustain injuries. All dog play is carefully monitored to avoid injury and to promote prosocial and appropriate interaction; but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, or other injuries may occur despite the best supervision.
  6. Polite Paws Dog Training will only let dogs off the lead once ‘off the lead consent’ has been granted in this form, and will remain at the discretion of Polite Paws Dog Training staff.
  7. The Client is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any injuries or illness that their dog receives while under the care of Polite Paws Dog Training; together with any associated costs e.g. call-out charges. The Client authorises the staff of Polite Paws Dog Training to seek such veterinary advice and/or treatment as they deem necessary; where possible this will be carried out by the Client’s usual/preferred Vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in an emergency) and the Client accepts that the staff of Polite Paws Dog Training may at their discretion use any registered Vet. The Client agrees to pay all such costs immediately upon pick-up of their dog, or by agreement with the proprietor.
  8. Polite Paws Dog Training reserves the right to refuse service provision if the Client fails to provide adequate proof of vaccinations, or the vaccinations are found to be expired or otherwise incomplete.
  9. It is vital that the Client informs Polite Paws Dog Training if their female unspayed dog is due to be or is in season or pregnant.
  10. The Client agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious, or otherwise communicable diseases. The Client further agrees to notify Polite Paws Dog Training immediately of any infectious and/or contagious disease or conditions their dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Such diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to: Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, Corona virus, worms, Lyme disease, Fleas, Pregnancy, Infectious Skin Diseases and Intestinal Parasites. Polite Paws Dog Training reserves the right to refuse services until satisfied that the condition is resolved.
  11. The Client agrees that Polite Paws Dog Training is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged leads, collars, tags, clothing or any other item left with their dog.
  12. The Client agrees to ensure their dog has not eaten in the hour before pick up by Polite Paws Dog Training to ensure sufficient time to digest food before any exercise or play. Failure to do so may result in the potentially life-threatening condition Bloat (Gastric Torsion).
  13. The Client agrees to provide keys/arrange access to the dog for the agreed appointment; should Polite Paws staff be unable to access the property for any reason, this will result in a cancellation for that day’s service and will be paid in full by the client.
  14. The Client agrees that, by signing this form, this will indemnify Polite Paws Dog Training in full against any liability arising from loss or damage to the property or its contents, in present and future circumstances.
  15. Restricted breeds will be muzzled and will remain on leash whilst in a public place.
  16. Polite Paws Dog Training holds a walking spot for your dog for the agreed day or time each week/month. Should your dog be unavailable for their usual walk slot, there is an €10.00 charge, per walk, to hold your spot. Failure to notify of reduction in service use or of holiday/hiatus plans may result in your walking spot being forfeited and given to another client on the wait list.
  17. Walks are €28.00 each. A second dog from the same household will cost an additional €10.00 per walk. Payments must be made prior to availing of the walking services. Failure to provide payment may result in cancellation of the walk and forfeit of your walking spot within the Polite Paws Schedule.
  18. No variation of these Terms and Conditions will have effect unless confirmed by Polite Paws Dog Training in writing.

I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
